He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; his parents, Jerome Welsh and Laura Hogarth; and his siblings, Muriel Appleby, Colleen Myers, Gerald, Cecil, Everett, Melvin and Robert Welsh.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas and Wayne; his granddaughter Ilana; and his daughter-in-law Dea Silbertrust.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sherbrooke Community Centre Chapel (401 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7H2E7).
