He was predeceased by: his grandparent Hochstadt; his parents, Henry Guenter and Mary Guenter (Friesen); and his siblings-in-law, Milt Munchinsky and Julia Guenter.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Friesen; his sons, Chad and Jonathan; and his siblings, Daniel, Vangi, Ruben (Barb), Anna (Mark), Judy (Ted) and Luetta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
