He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his son John Allan; his parents, Abram and Anna; his brothers, Peter, Abe and John; and his brother-in-law Bill Thiessen.
He is survived by: his sister Anne Thiessen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
