She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Hnatiw (Dziadyk) and John Hnatiw; her husband John Prokopchuk; her brother Walter Hnatiw; her brothers-in-law, Harry Prokopchuk, Myron Stechishin and Jack Harasymchuk; and her son Leonard Prokopchuk.

She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Barb) and John (Kim); her daughter-in-law Nadia; her grandchildren, Jason, Steven (Christine), Oksana (Mykola), Demyan (Natalia), Brennan (Anna), Josie (Luke), Molly and Cole (Ambure); her sisters, Emily Stechishin and Frances Harasymchuk; and her sister-in-law Anne Hnatiw. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
