With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herb Shier (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on April 27, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son Dean; and his wife Gudrun Franson. He is survived by : his daughters, Donna Korol (Tim), Pat (Denis Chalifour), Peggy and Joanne; and his grandchildren, Julie MacKenzie (Neil), Steven Korol (Kerri), Christine Korol, Kevin Korol (Kristyn), Alex, Nicole (Ricky Kawa), Jocelyne Chalifour, Jordan and Tyson Shier. He is also survived by 7 great grand children.

The last year's Covid restrictions were particularly hard for Herb who was a social guy.

In lieu of flowers donations to two of Herb's favorite organizations would be appreciated: Operation Smile Canada (http://www.operationsmile.ca) or the Colonsay Rec Board (Box244, Colonsay SOK OZO).
