He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Smith and Alice Smith; his sister Donna Carignan; his in-laws, Stan and Golda Jackson; his brother-in-law Ken Jackson; his stepmother Rowena Smith; and his stepsister Donna Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Myna; his son Greg (Sonja); his grandson Ashton; his son Wade; his grandsons, Marshall and Jackson; his brother Gerald; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Bidwell and Celeste Jackson; his brother Peter; his sister-in-law Maureen Cumiskey; his brother Chris; his sister-in-law Kathy Barnes; and his stepbrother Earl Tinney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
