She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Boechler and Katherine Boechler (Selzler); her husband Jack; her granddaughters, Taryn and Lara; her children, Ed (Julie), Carol, Duane (Wiesia), Therese (Phil), Joan (Ken), Gwen (Randy) and Gerry (Wendy); her grandchildren, Bruce, David (Cassandra), Scott, Chantelle, Trenton, Kalyn (Griffin), Aiden, Kasia (Zac), Justine (Jesse), Jesse, Jackie (Damien), Michelle (Nikola), Carmen (Steve), Danielle, Ellesa (Sandon), Ashley (Jerad) and Garret (Janelle); and her great grandchildren, Serena, Decimus, Atticus, Rhiannon, Chloe, Maya, Mateo, Julian, Bruce, Jack, Vivienne, Tatjana, Mila, Vlado, Luka, Janie, Tess, Jordyn, Sloan and Quinn. She was also cherished by extended family, including many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in Hilda's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Ann's Senior Citizens' Village.
