He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Theresa; his brothers, Rommie and Randy; and his brother-in-law Gerry.

He is survived by : his wife Judy; his son Emil; his daughter Alicia Denis (son in law Eric Denis), grandchildren
Gabrielle, Damien, Evelyn and John; his son Mitchel (wife Meagan), grandchildren Haleigh, Lexi and Howard. His siblings, Jerry (Diane), Iona (Quinton), Gail, Murray, Myra (Wayne) and Michelle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
