He is survived by: his wife Emma; his children, Michelle, Darrel (Tracey), Darren (Darla) and Vanessa; his siblings, Elma and Eugene (Darlene); his sisters-in-law, Verda and Mary; his grandchildren, Tennyson (Jocelyn), Deidre (Obuks), Ashley, Nicholas, Evan and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Trey, Caelum and Jonah.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society as cancer has had a fondness for his family.
