We are sad to announce that, on April 27, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ione Lois Anne Wanner of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons-in-law, Robert Liesch and Kevin McCart; her parents, Anna Waldal and Olaf Waldal; her daughters, Deborah Cooke of Saskatoon, Cathy McCart of Lethbridge, Lorrie Nevison, Brenda Wanner and Jane Liesch-Giles of Sylvan Lake; her children-in-law, Geoff Cooke, Tom Nevison, Doug Steil and Byron Giles; her brother-in-law Inis (Arthur Marcotte); and her husband Roy Wanner. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, her sister.
To honour Ione and to support one of her most passionate convictions, her daughters are making a meaningful contribution to Dying With Dignity Canada, and encourage anyone who knew and loved their mom to consider the same.
