Irene Roy Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 12, 2024, Irene Roy (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Schnell and Aloysius Schnell (Louie); her husband Wilfred Roy; her grandson Aaron Hirsch; her great grandchild Olivia Hirsch; and her brother Raymond.

She is survived by: her children, Remi (Natalia Grebenuk), Jennifer Miller (Garth), Jeffrey (Shirley), Jocelyn Ayers (Larry), Marcia Hirsch (Stanley) and Wendy (Garth Cantrill); her siblings, Patricia Roy, Gerald Schnell, Richard Schnell, Marlene Lisafeld, Paula Fischer and David Schnell; and her grandchildren, Uliana, Vladimir, Alexandra, Tim, Rhett, Nolan, Desai, Tamara, Kristen, Meagan, Dagan, Rachel, Kara and Meshon. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, and by her sisters- and brothers-in-law and many loving nieces and nephews.
