He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pfeifer and Frances Pfeifer; his siblings, Gordon, Evelyn Dixson (Clyde) and Erma; his brothers-in-law, Gordon Strankman and Doug Blacklock; and his parents-in-law, George and Minnie Hallman.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his great grandchildren, Brenda Pfeifer, Debbie Forgie (Greg), James, Jasmine, Patti Sparrow (Morley), Brandon, Travis, Kirstin and Gailene Risling (Rick); his siblings, Betty Strankman and Don Pfeifer (Bunny); his sister-in-law Joyce Blacklock; and his son Irvin. He is also survived by 4 daughters, 5 grandchildren.
