He was predeceased by: his wife Merilyn; his parents, James Hay and Hazel Hay; his parents-in-law, Albert and Edith Henderson; his brother-in-law Roy Shipley; and his nephew Lee Shipley.
He is survived by: his son Keith Hay (Shauna); his grandchildren, Keira and Brennan; his daughter Noreen Blair (Kevin); his grandson Brad Blair (Kaitlyn); his great grandchildren, Rae and Walker; his grandsons, Dustin Blair (Katie) and Garrett Blair (Allie); his great grandchildren, Blakely and Jameson; his sister Margaret Shipley; his sibling's child Kelly Shipley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haylee and Dean; his nephew Jeff Shipley (Marilyn); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shandi, Justin, Pat Shipley (Beth) and Gordon Shipley (Leah); and also, Ayden, Kyle, Lily, Spencer and Alex.
