It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Duguid (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Duguid to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her husband Clarence; her daughters, April Coulter (Ryan), Shannon Fayerman-Hanson (Samuel) and Regan Hawkins (Josh); her grandchildren, Shaydon Duguid, Liam, Taryn Coulter, Emily, Hailey Hawkins, Kashton and Lucus Fayerman-Hanson; and her brothers, Bruce Thompson (Darlene) and Murray Thompson (Lana). She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.

“Dear family, condolences. I spent many years with your mom at Saskatoon City Hospital. There was one project that she participated in, that of making male and female wages the same for similar work. This was a provincial initiative between the SK government and the unions. It had significant positive impact for our technologists and still does. Yes! she was an activist! We were neighbors as well, sharing life at her kitchen table or on her doorstep. May she rest in peace. Carole Young”
