The passing of Jennie Douglas (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her parents, Ted Kinar and Olga Kinar; her brothers, Edwin and Terry; and her sister-in-law Liana Kinar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Kapeluck and Sheri Chrun (Dean); her grandchildren, Alexa Kapeluck (Brayden Caouette) and Devin Kapeluck (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Eleanor, William, Milena and Penelope; her sister Linda Oystryk (Frank); and her siblings-in-law, Joan Douglas, Fay Winters, Marilyn Tyndall (Bill), Bill Douglas (Lillian) and Bob Douglas (Margie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the All-Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2616 Louise St, Saskatoon, SK S7J0P3). A burial was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1502 2nd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K2G1).
