He is survived by: his child Jamie Lynn; his wife Betty; his grandchildren, Wayne and April German; his children, Robert, Tricia German, Bradley Plosz, Kimberley and Paul Fraser; his siblings, Walter German (Gwen), Carol Anaka and Betty Lockwood (Darryl); and his siblings-in-law, Elsie Yurchuk, Peggy Gizen and Mike Bilinski (Hope). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Neurology or Internal Medicine Departments at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
