Jerry Johnsrude Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Johnsrude in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Lorna (Norman Todd) and Judy; his nephew Daryn Johnsrude; and his parents, Tommy Douglas and Jerry.

He is survived by: his brother Derek (Arlene); his siblings-in-law, David, Gayle Day, John and Clara Day; his children, Ingrid (Mark Wolforth), Eric (Karen), Laurie (Jamie Valliant), David (Susie) and Jamie Gibbon (Toshiko); and his grandchildren, Maia Gibbon, Sofia Gibbon, Rowan Wolforth, Mary Wolforth (Molly), Aidan Johnsrude, Jason Valliant, Claire Johnsrude, Alexandra Valliant and Greta Gibbon.

A donation to Médecins Sans Frontières, the UNHCR, or your local foodbank, would be a fitting way to remember him.
