He is survived by: his wife Marina; his daughter Amanda Buchner (Eugene); his grandchildren, Amedee (Natasha) and Nico; his son Nicolas Kriel (Shirley); his grandchildren, Thomas, Ashlie, Nicole (Forrest) and Kristopher (Kaelyn); and his siblings-in-law, Saar Roeloffs (Jan) and Hoppies Hopkins (Elna). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, family and friends.
