It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Eugene Atamanenko (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Cosette Fernets; his parents, Nicolas and Pauline; his siblings, Alex (Betty) and Vera (Sam Cheveldayoff); and his nephew Jim Atamanenko.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty; and his children, Duane, Bruce and Barbara. He is also survived by six grand-children, and many nieces and nephews.
