It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Richard Roberts (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Roberts and Margaret Mulligan; and his siblings, May and Alun. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his daughter Gwen Joyce (Dez); his grandchildren, Jess and Paddy; his son Alun Roberts (Samantha); his granddaughters, Lucy and Maggie; his daughter Rhiannon Roberts; his grandsons, Declan and Owen; and his daughter Jessica Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (1300-2300 Yonge Street Toronto, ON M4P 1E4).

He was a good person and a good friend and we always enjoyed our little visits when we met with he and Lynn at the Lawson Mall during our walks. John was, indeed, passionate about his soccer and our visits always included a discussion of the latest games that we had watched on TV. I will miss him!
