He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman and Margaret; and his siblings, Mary, Catherine, Victoria, Alex, Peter, Bert, Rupert and Ron.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline Nykiforuk; and his siblings, Hermana, Anne and Aloysia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
