She is survived by: her sons, Alex Murphy (Ashley), Patrick Murphy and Peter Murphy (Jess Wylie); and her grandchildren, Abby, Declan, Kipton, Ashlynn, Bronwyn and Bennett.

“I was very sad to learn of Kathy's passing, I'm a food service worker on 1st floor of Luther Special Care Home. It was an honor to assist Kathy in her meal preparations, so foods were easier for her to eat. And she always told me how much she appreciated what I'd do for her. Kathy was a very warm hearted person, whose smiles and laughter were contageous! She loved her conversations in the dining room and visiting friends down the hall. Kathy loved being a part of her family at Luther. Miss her”
