With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen McDowell of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Stirling; her siblings, George Fidgett (Saskatoon) and Violet Lindgren (Edmonton); her children, Donna (Ron Jeppesen), Diane Astalosch (Leo) and David; her grandchildren, Katie Peters (Paul), Amanda Hooton (Alex) and Derrick Astalosch; her great grandchildren, Leo, Brooklyn, Chloe and Abigail; her brother-in-law Ken Lindgren; and her parents, Alfred Fidgett and Annie Fidgett.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that charitable donations in her memory may be made to the McDowell Foundation for Research and Teaching, 2317 Arlington Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7J 2H8.
