He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hicks and Lorne Hicks; his son Ronald; his sister Pat; his brother-in-law Stan Currie; his siblings, Don, Howard and Donna; and his son-in-law Kelvin Lamont.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Cathy (Brian), Michael (Charlene), Suzy, Gary (Heather) and Bill (Marni).
