He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hnidy and Roseanne Hnidy; and his sister Joyce McCallum. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Alexa Hnidy (Seth) and Mitch Hnidy (Jessa); his siblings, Joan Hnidy (Henry), Pat Hnidy (Lauren) and Mike Hnidy (Melanie); his in-laws, Ted and Elaine Panchuk; and his sister-in-law Shelly Panchuk (Cam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
