He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barrett and Mary Barrett-Lenz; his brothers, David and Mark; and his stepfather John Lenz.

He is survived by: his wife Jackie Almeida; his daughters, Jessica Motley (Paul), Amy Hood (Brady) and Jayne Drucker (Scott); his stepsons, Josiah Prouten (Chad) and Giuseppe Almeida; his brothers, Bruce Barrett (Elaine) and Dan Barrett (Debbie); his sister-in-law Dolores (Mark); and his grandchildren, Oliva, Luke, Billie, Dottie, Arri, Zya and Cooper. He is also survived by eight nieces.
