Lai Hing Tam Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lai Hing Tam (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on November 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kock Hin Tam; her parents, Yee Fook Bow and Dung Sol Jean; her siblings, Suey Hing and Joe Fat; her daughters, Baby Girl Tam and Verna; her son-in-law Robbie "Charlie" O'Neill; and her grandsons, Baby Adam and Jason LaMarsh.

She is survived by: her children, Faye (Jonah), Rosemarie, Humphrey (Kim), Jean O'Neill, Ivan (Carrie), Nancy (Guy) and Doug (Sharon); her son-in-law Norman Wong (Rita); her children, Mareck, Jacquie and Danny Yee (Elaine); her nieces, Mary (Tony) and Victoria (Tommy); her sister Donna; her nieces and nephews, Edna, Kay (Van), Wei (Jun) and Sue; her sister Susan; her sister-in-law Mabel Yee; her niece Fern (Dan); her nephew William (Norah); her great-nephews, Aidan, Spencer and Carson; her grandchildren, YinYin, Zachery (Kris), Isaac Wong (Shania), Justin LaMarsh (Olivia), Lauren Tam (David), Ally (Brandon), Jodie, Emmy-Lou O'Neill, Grace, Joshua Tam, Yanérick Hains (Vanessa), Mareck (Haley) and Jacquie Tam; her great grandchild Matéo Hains; her great-nieces, Carmen, Karen, Lauren, Sydney and Riley; Joe Fat. She is also survived by five siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the Tam family would like to invite donations be made to support the deaf culture, arts, ASL and community-building in the province of Saskatchewan in memory of Lai Hing Tam.
