He was predeceased by: his parents, Delores Minnie Bowler (Tournat) and Eric Palmer Bowler. He is survived by: his wife Shirlie; his daughters, Carolyn and Tracy Bowler; his grandsons, William Kuntz (Tamera) and Nathan Kuntz (Izelle); his sister Reta Thompson; and his nephew Brandon Thompson (Lauren). He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, sister.
