Laurie Lester Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Lester (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Jennifer; her grandparents, Helmut, Rose Wekerle, George and Vera Morrow; her uncle Dwain Morrow; her brother-in-law Brian Husnik; her uncle Jack Friesen; and her granddaughter Temperance.

She is survived by: her parents, Marlis Wekerle and Alvin Wekerle of Saskatoon; her sons, Chris Lester (Shannon) of Saskatoon, Jesse Chrusch (Kathleen) of Saskatoon and Brenden Lester-Chrusch of Saskatoon; her sister Bonnie Husnik of Saskatoon; her grandchildren, Madison, Dylan (Vanya), Chloe, Ceara, Kale, Dreagen, Declan and Cassandra; her great grandchildren, Kesslyn, Jedaeis, Andromeda and Clementine; her nephew Alex (Kaylah); her niece Sarah; and her great-nieces, Kennedy and Kamryn.
