He was predeceased by: his former wife Gloria (LaCharity); his parents, William Latta and Dora Latta (Prystay); his fathers-in-law, Jack Connolly, Hudson Bay and Washington; Vincent Connolly, Raymond Charity and Caroline LaCharity.

He is survived by: his spouse Lynn; his sister Laurie Connolly (Roger Alain); his mother-in-law Elaine Dunbar (Randy Hawke); his brothers-in-law, Ralph Charity (Cathy), Allan LaCharity (Sandra Finlayson), Bob Smith (Karla) and James Niels; his children, Ryann (Justin Blake), Kiley Smith and Tanner Niels; and his grandchildren, Karsynn and Nokona. He is also survived by 4 daughters and a son.
