He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Niekamp and Bernadine Niekamp; his stepmother Isabel Niekamp (Nordick); his siblings, Herman, Walter, Ronnie, Ralph, Allan, Dora, Helen, Aggi, Marie, Elsie, Rita, Angela, Francie and Yvonne; his stepsiblings, Rosella, Linda, Ron and Raymond; and his half-brother Daryl.
He is survived by: his close friend Simone (Patricia); and his children, Evan Niekamp (Erin Tosh, family: Jake, Julie), Rae Ann Niekamp (Rachid Ichou) and Alyssa Niekamp (Kyle Linzmeyer, family: Katherine, Lilianna).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Pl, Saskatoon, SK S7J3V7). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
