We announce the death of Lily Holowaty (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 98. Lily will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Steve; her son Melvin; and her daughter-in-law Jeannie. She is survived by: her child Mka; her grandchildren, Julie Hamilton (Rob), James Holowaty (Lindsey), John Gryba (Jen), Rowenna Gryba (Rod), Melissa Kristensen (Kyle), Carly Kristensen (Mike), Garett Goodman (Vanessa) and Chad Goodman (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Karma, Kiefer, Aeongas Hamilton, Drew Holowaty, Stephan, William Gryba, Bodhi Flinn, Hanne, Henrik Trainor, Alina and Etta Goodman; and her sister Verna Kereluk.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2616 Louise St, Saskatoon, SK S7J0P3). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Foam Lake Cemetery.
