He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Freeden (Dutch) and Zella Freeden (Evans); his wife Marguerite (Prime); his son Wesley Freeden; his siblings, Gary Freeden (Shiela) and Jean Geddes (Kieth); and his sister-in-law Bev Freeden.

He is survived by: his sons, Darryl (Lynn), Warren (Linda) and Kevin (Stephanie); his daughter-in-law Pat; and his siblings, Gordon and Betty Gjevre (Rudy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
