He was predeceased by: his parents, Lajos Szabo and Terezia Szabo; his son Dr. Louie Szabo Jr. (Lajos Jr.); his siblings, Mariska and Joseph; and his brother-in-law Zoltan Szabo (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Ilona Szabo; his daughter Dr. Eileen Szabo (Edris); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher and Alex Szabo (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Louise and Henry; and his daughter-in-law Marybeth Szabo.
