He is survived by: his significant other Caroline Laird; his children, Caylee Laird and Kyle Laird; his brothers, Aubrey and Brian Downey (Nancy); his sister-in-law Beryle Downey; his close friends, Dean Gregory and Bill Johnston; and his nieces and nephews, Craig Downey, Jeff (Merilynn), Shari (Andre), Baillargeon and Scott Downey (Jayden). He is also survived by his friends, teammates, classmates.
