He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastasios Emmanouel Barlas and Angeliki Barlas (Tsakalakis). He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Barlas (Davio); his children, Angela Barlas, Anastasios Barlas (Caitlin), Emily Barlas and Mac Barlas (Jelena Mlinarevic); his grandchildren, Emmanouel and Amelia; and his siblings, Efstathia Arvanitis (Stavros), Ilias Barlas (Sonya Jan) and Vasilis Barlas (Tasia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
