Mary (Woytowich) Owchar Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Woytowich) Owchar (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Nettie (Andrew); her brothers, Steve, Bill (Elsie), Mike (Emily), Roman and Terry; her daughter-in-law Eleanor Owchar; and her great grandchild Carter Thiessen.

She is survived by: her children, Wally, Orest (Ann), Bob (Iris) and Diane Thiessen (Gary); her sisters, Anne Lukan and Rose Hrycuik; and her sister-in-law Gloria Woytowich. She is also survived by grandchildren (10), great-grandchildren (16) and by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Mary's memory can be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph or the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George.
