She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Zaleschuk and Josephine Zaleschuk (Rohachuk); and her husband Fred Baschuk. She is survived by: her daughters, Elsie Aikins (Harvey) and Lorraine Penteluk (Morris); her grandchildren, Kevin, Janelle Penteluk, Cory Aikins (Andrea) and Shannon Lansford (Scott); her great grandchildren, Carson, Dylan Lansford, Avery and Evan Aikins; and her siblings, Walter Zaleschuk (Albina), Morris Zaleschuk (Dolores) and Irene Swick (Eugene). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Close to Home" campaign which supports end of life care through the St. Paul's Hospital Foundation or to the Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
