She was predeceased by: her parents, John Syroteuk and Alice Syroteuk. She is survived by: her husband Rodney; her daughters, Angela Hennings (Gabe), Jamie Taylor (Steffen Bertelsen), Lisa Taylor (Jason Fege) and Kimberly Andreas (Ricky); and her siblings, Mike Syroteuk (Joan), Marvin Syroteuk, Joanne Mesec (Roman), Pat Syroteuk, Kevin Syroteuk (Sandra), Lorianne Earis (Kevin) and Jennifer Ziegler (Marcus). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Maureen.
