She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Doherty; her parents, Helen Stevens and William Stevens; her siblings, Irene Stevens, Leslie (Jewel), Allan (Emily), Lorne and Richard Stevens (Sylvia); and her nephew Dale Stevens.

She is survived by: her children, Helen Riggs (John), Russ Doherty (Reta), Judy Dow (Cam), Debbie Pultz (Greg) and Rob Doherty (Pam); her grandchildren, Lisa Smilek (David), Sean Riggs, Curtis Dow, Tyler Dow, Matthew Penny, Connor Doherty (Ella), Andi Dow (Christian), Britt Norris (Kyle), Megan Pultz, Austin Pultz, Katie Doherty and Brendan Doherty; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Caleb, Noah, Lydia Smilek and Wrigley Riggs; and her sister-in-law Alice Stevens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
