He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Stinka (Spezowka) and Nick Stinka; and his siblings, George Stinka (Doris), Arseny Stinka (Victoria), Mary Senkiw (Peter), Lillian Skwarchuk (Harry), Sophie Chobotar (Harry), Wasyl Stinka (Anne), Vicky Pidhorney (Matt) and Katie Stinka.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Archbishop John may be made to the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of Holy Trinity and/or U.O.C.C. relief fund for the war in Ukraine.
