It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Hayden (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is shared. Michael, born on June 4, 1934 in Akron, Ohio, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michael will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Michael by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Michael is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Michael’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hayden and Clare Yahner; his former wife Joan Harwell; and his wife Dolores Giop Gradish. He is survived by: his children, Mike (Maureen Mayhew), Tom and Aileen.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More College Chapel (1437 College Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7N0W6).
In lieu of flowers, his family invites donations to Friendship Inn, the Saskatoon Food Bank, or the Hospice at Glengarda.
