Mureca Erika May Obituary

Mureca Erika May, our beautiful, spiritual sister passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024 at the young age of 34, with her family by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Tana May; grandparents, Erika and Karl, Kelly James and Muriel Dunlop; uncle, Ron May; aunty, Margo Ockwell; and her loving companion, Hendrix. She will be remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Melina and Cole Anderson, Mikhea May and Jay Hutchinson; aunties and uncles, Charlene and Dennis Frank, Patty and Cliff Jessup and Janice May; cousins, Robert Reid, Leslie Grzesiak, Tyler and Lindsey Wozinak, Tanis Ockwell, Tiffany Karoly; and her puppy, Dexter.

She spent her adolescent days in Coronach, moved to Saskatoon, where she lived most of her life, as well as Regina and up north. She was a strong, smart and independent woman, who loved to spend loads of time on the beach, spending time with family and friends, relaxing to some music with her pets, playing piano and guitar. She requested that there be no funeral service, but a celebration of life on her behalf, which will be determined by her sisters at a later date. Family and friends will be contacted when a time and place have been decided for the celebration. A huge Thank You to the Royal University Hospital doctors and staff for your care in her final month of life, as well as everyone who came out to see her in her unfortunate early passing.
