He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; his parents, Frank Miller and Hilda Miller; his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Rose Miller; his brother Frank; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Heeg, Arthur Heeg and Betty Lou Heeg.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda and Lana; his grandchildren, Michelle (Adrian), Nathan (Danielle), Jim (Amber) and Kadin (Erica); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Ava, Zoe, Harper, Jake, Laker, August and Jaxon; his sons-in-law, Bob and David; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Heeg and Ron Heeg (Jeanne). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dad's memory to the St. Paul's Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit.
