He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Ganchar and Joseph Ganchar; his wife Rose Ganchar; and his stepfather Alex Boychuk. He is survived by: his children, Glen (Sandy), Perry (Pam), Cheryl (Darrell), Maureen (Mike), Trisha (Joel) and Tara (Jon); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kendra, Taylor (Braedon), Jenelle, Cody (Mary), Isabel, Joel, Natasha (Brad), Chantelle (Mike), Chalyn (Brandon), Alyssa (Cody), Dylan (Miranda), Payton, Ella, Kate, Cohen and Ryker; his great grandchildren, Cash, Marek, Gracie, Brooks, Olivia, Lennon, Maxine, Jaxson, Maverick, Nash, Nora and Jessie; and his sisters, Adele Sorokan, Jane Ganchar (Tom) and Anne Hrytsak (Al).
