He was predeceased by: his father Joshua Ogunkanmi. He is survived by: his close friend Tracy Muggli; his brother John (Ekundayo); his mother Esther Ogunkanmi; his siblings, Yinka Ogunkanmi, Funmilayo Falaye (Richard) and Odunola Ogunkanmi; Ayden, Toluwalase, Abimbola, Morayo, Moranu and Olabisi.
He lived to play with his mates, the Randy Woods Band and the Oral Fuentes Reggae Band, as well as freelance engagements with other musicians and for charity events.
