He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Melnychuk; his parents, Marcella and Steve; and his siblings, Sylvia, Phyllis, Louise and Ron.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Hatfield (Aubrey) of Saskatoon and Cheryl Eddy (Todd) of Red Deer, Alberta.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
