He was predeceased by: his father Stephen Keryliw; his wife Angelina Charko; his grandson Justin; his brother Peter; and his siblings-in-law, Susan, John, Harry and Ken.

He is survived by: his children, Eugene (Marilyn) of Blaine Lake, SK, Vivian (Dan) of Penticton, BC and Rosanna (Trevor) of Saskatoon; his grandchildren, Tara (Lyndon), Jenna (Kendal), Weslie and Lorne; his great grandchildren, Rueben and Linara; his sister Natalie; and his sister-in-law Jan.
