He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Nicholas and Elva McGregor; his former wife Dianna Day; his stepmother Donelda Nicholas; his daughters, Sherri McInnes and Stephanie Nicholas; his granddaughter Sara Lynn Matileg; and his sister Betty Anne McGregor.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Sandy Nicholas-Grosso (Fino), Shelly Nicholas and Michelle Gowans (Ken); and his siblings, Howard McGregor (Mary), Vera Nicholas and Duane Nicholas (Vivian). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
