He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Wasylow; his uncle Andrew Holota; and his grandparents, Rev. Deacon Morris, Olga Holota, Walter and Helen Wasylow.

He is survived by: his wife Erin; his children, Alton and Sophie; his mother Angela Wasylow; his siblings, Andrea Wasylow and Simon Wasylow; his parents-in-law, Donna Anderson, Ed Reigl, Valray Wideen and Shelley Andersen; his uncle Phil; his nephews, Oleksa, Gabriel and Joseph; his niece Allyson; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Kociuba (Peter), Joanne Ball (Doug), Morris Holota (Emma), Natalie Mudri (George) and Marion Prasad (Kailash).

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in his memory to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation and to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
